Special Thanks

Special Thanks

Dr. V. Kumar MD (MA) RFCP. Special thanks for endorsing my magnetic jewellery. You supported my wellness jewellery from the very beginning [18 years ago]; and ensured I had a comprehensive understanding of magnetic energy and natural healing. Your innovative combination of holistic and conventional medicine proves these "theories of healing" are not mutually exclusive; and can be combined to ensure patients receive the best overall diagnosis and treatment.[I would know] For many years your patients have benefited from your knowledge and care. Enjoy your retirement. You earned it. Time to go fishing!

Ian McKinnon. Special thanks for permission to enhance my website with Celtic music from your album: MacKinnon’s Brook Suite [2001]. It is a privilege to have your music flow through my website; and an audio delight for my website viewers!

Join Ian McKinnon as he discusses with Dr. Karly Kehoe [Jan. 2021] his family history and the Scottish Highlanders' migration and settlement in Cape Breton Island. Watch Ian's YouTube Playlist to enjoy, in sequence, the history discussion and the CBC musical production of MacKinnon’s Brook Suite: a [unique] five movement Celtic Symphonic Suite composed and conducted by Scott Macmillan, featuring Symphony Nova Scotia with soloists Ian McKinnon (highland bagpipe and tin whistle) and David Greenberg (fiddle). Purchase CD or digital album at IanMckinnon.bandcamp.com

Enjoy the fusion of Celtic traditional music with the rhythms of Rock, Pop and Worldbeat music with Ian and Rawlins Cross. "Celebrating 30 years as a band offering an eclectic mix of the old world and the new." Buy Online: RawlinsCross.bandcamp.com

Darian k.  Special thanks [nephew] for your technical support throughout my project. The builder software does provide the tools to construct and edit a Site and Store; but your help [as a website product specialist] was needed to hammer in some nails.

As my project approached the runway, your technical assistance helped me to attach the wings and fine-tune the engine. I was able to safely fly into cyberspace and avoid a crash landing!

Joseph k. Special thanks for your use as a "sounding board." No doubt your ears are still ringing. Sorry for the dents in your head from my jewellery tools. There is always danger when entering my workshop. No exemption for spouse.

Brandon k. Thanks for your long-distance support and encouragement. We may be separated by miles, but distance has not loosened the tie that binds - mother & son. Special thanks for texting alternative mashup music. It gets me going in the morning with a dance and a tightly closed cup of coffee!

Customers: Past and Present. Thanks tourists for your support, these past 14 years. It was very rewarding to be both a jewellery artisan and an ambassador for Cape Breton at the Sydney Cruise Ship Terminal. Special thanks to viewers of my Website and shoppers at my Store. Your interest and support allows me to continue work that defines who I am - a proud Canadian creating wellness jewellery and showcasing Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Cape Breton Island. Special thanks to my Island. My website is a tribute to Cape Breton. Viewers will discover the wonder and beauty that influences all my artistic endeavors.

The seaside collages, presenting my magnetic jewellery, and the shoreline video clips were taken within the parameters of my pandemic bubble in 2020 and 2021. I used only my Smartphone [without zoom] and did not edit with Photoshop.

Many times, I was soaked with sea water and occasionally I jumped into the ocean to retrieve my props!

Rugged shoreline Nature, with natural lighting, is the backdrop for my magnetic jewellery photos and videos.

My Way: Chris Mann (reworked lyrics)

Rita k. Special thanks to my mom. Your belief that all dreams are possible gave me the courage to begin my new career as a therapeutic jewellery designer [17 years ago]. I inherited your independence and creative spark. You shine a light on my challenges in these troubled times. You have been a beacon of hope during my year of transition from the tourist industry to an online store.

Very special thanks for my name "gloria". Gloria is the anglicized Latin feminine [given name] "gloriae", meaning glory and honor. Glory from the Latin Gloria [gloriae] is also used to describe the manifestation of God's presence as perceived by humans.

I have certainly felt like Boudicca fighting a fierce battle with a deadly foe; and have done much praying to God these many months.

Actually, I was named after Gloria Swanson [actress-producer]. I'm good with that. I can only hope my life is as colorful.

Mom's favorite song from the album: Sì. Andrea Bocelli 2019

Song: Gloria, the Gift of Life

I often hear her listening to music [next door] in her little home-by-the-sea, as she "draws" her world view. You are my gift, Mom.
